We figured you guys hadn’t gotten enough D1 coverage from this weekend so we are dropping a second gallery on you from the weekend. We had to get this up before we headed out for the main event today. It’s 8:51am out in Japan which is earlier than we have even been awake in the USA EVER just for you guys.

Rogue Status is one of the largest streetwear brands in America to date. They currently sponsor Ken Gushi in his drifting Scion tC.  Wrecked Magazine produced a small video highlighting the Scion tC’s drifting debut as it was surrounded by much off season hype. The guys at Rogue Status featured the video on their blog and drove our video tons of traffic. Thanks guys!

Ken Gushi was able to get the Scion tC going and competitive despite some early doubts through the garage area. He qualified 10th moving him into the top 16 competition. He was eliminated in the first round but wound up with 56 points securing him 12th place in the standings. Here is our overview video on how the biggest story in Drifting for 2008 performed in it’s first outing.

Norris Prayoonto put on a great show in his all motor class by taking home first place right before the rain started to pour down. Chris Rado was defeated by Gary Gardella in his NOS Energy Drink Scion tC.
