The Hot Import Nights Miami video we produced was selected for the home page of streetfire.net. Streetfire.net is the largest automotive video website on the Internet to date. This was very exciting for us at PM Lifestyle and our client NOS Energy Drink. This is the second time with this project we have made the homepage of Streetfire producing millions of views.

Corissa Furr takes us all to Hot Import Nights Mia

Here is the full version of the video that extends to almost four minutes. We shot this video with a Sony EX-1 and put some new stylistic thoughts into the Hot Import Nights arena for this one. We used a tripod wheel set for most of the shots and help make the low light work out better. I feel like it was a very nice touch for the video and we had the Corissa Furr on the microphone for intro/outro which always helps!

SEMA 2008 - Day 4 with the Naughty NOS Girls

This was another sequence shot we did but it wasn’t that great. The girls walked way too fast for me but oh well. I am sure this will be the most popular video from the NOS TV series for NOS Energy Drink over the SEMA week but it probably ranks second behind the ACP one for shooting with me.

SEMA 2008 - Day 3 with the ACP Rally Team

The ACP rally shooting was my favorite sequence we shot at the 2008 SEMA show. Somehow we managed in the middle of the SEMA show to shoot one long continuous take around the K&N booth with the ACP rally team. The video starts with the Evo 9 image flipping over from the 2008 X-Games event and we walk to the Evo 10 that is hanging from the ceiling. What an amazing layout and Andrew and Jen just busted out a great interview on the first take. Our tripod dolly really came into play for the 2008 SEMA show for this interview. I had a blast filming this ACP interview for NOS TV.

SEMA 2008 - Day 3 with Chris Rado

Chris Rado had a black Scion XB time attack car in the Scion booth at the 2008 SEMA show with NOS Energy Drink sponsorship on it. He talked about how the Scion XB will compete in 2009 in the Redline Time Attack series in the car. We featured him as a NOS sponsored athlete at NOS TV.

SEMA 2008 preview with NOS TV

We knocked out six videos over the SEMA week for the NOS TV series for NOS Energy Drink. This was our preview day with the Peterson brothers. We tackled five more videos after this one to really bring fans of NOS TV into the SEMA experience through all of it’s athletes.

Well one year ago today we put up the new site live 100% out of BETA. We have enjoyed the last year and all of our experiences with Drifting content from around the world. After we pull our face out of our yummy birthday cake we just want to take a second and recognize our sponsors that have helped make this year happen.

While this isn’t huge news for online video (Google Video has had the option for over two years) it gets us excited that this option is available now in Youtube. To specify a point, append a tag to the end of your video link with the following syntax: “#t=4m15s” (you can change the numbers before the ‘m’ and ’s’ to edit the minutes and seconds, respectively. For example, a video we made for our client NOS Energy Drink is the X-Games 14 flip of the Evolution 9.

The video includes some additional clips that some people might not be interested in or have a focus on. Let’s say if someone was writing a story on the X-Games 14 and they wanted to just reference the actual flip to compliment the story, they could use our full length Youtube video but just send people to the rally flip. They don’t seem to have a simple way to link into a point of the video other than manually adding the “#t=2m49s” to the end of a video URL. Perhaps Youtube is going to phase this feature into it’s products as they have not even mentioned this new feature on the Youtube Official Blog yet.
