As we are excited to be a part of Mobil 1 over the SEMA 2008 week they are doing some out of home marketing for the week as well. Mobil 1 will have this billboard up in Las Vegas, Nevada for the week. We are ready to attack Mobil 1 from the media side so be on the lookout for all of our SEMA coverage. I realize the text is a little hard to read on the right side of the billboard, so here it is.
“My cars push the limits of
Japanese tuning, so I have to use the
best parts for all of
my builds. That’s why I use
nothing but Mobil1.”
-Ben Schaffer - Bulletproof Automotive

Great work Theory Communications on the design of this billboard. We will see everyone next week at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.
Check out this 996 turbo Porsche that was built for the Mobil 1 booth at SEMA 2008. We got an exclusive sneak peak at it and wanted to give you guys a reason to stop by the Mobil 1 booth to check it out. This 966 that will be in the SEMA booth is gorgeous, I cannot get enough of this green color. Great selection they made for the booth.
Well one year ago today we put up the new site live 100% out of BETA. We have enjoyed the last year and all of our experiences with Drifting content from around the world. After we pull our face out of our yummy birthday cake we just want to take a second and recognize our sponsors that have helped make this year happen.
Well after going back and forth with rumors about F1 in the United States, the Formula 1 group has come out and said no more Canadian F1 in Montreal which has become a popular staple of the tour. This means no F1 race in North America at all which comes as a shock and a great loss to North American F1 fans everywhere. This move was done in an effort to cut costs but seems very harmful to many global companies involved that have a large market share they either reach now or wish to reach in North America like Mobil 1, Bridgestone, and all the car manufacturers.
The Formula 1 race was a huge deal this weekend as it was the 800th F1 race in history and the first ever night race in F1 history. Lewis Hamilton with Team McLaren is sponsored by Mobil 1 and we just wanted to issue him a congratulations from everyone at PM Lifestyle for moving 7 points ahead of Massa in the championship. With his 3rd place finish McLaren moved 1 point ahead of Ferrari in the manufacturer’s championship as well. Keep up the good work guys and we cannot wait to see what will unfold in two weeks at Fuji Speedway.
Joey Redmond also produced a story on his blog at Wrecked Magazine about the F1 Singapore race and we think you should check it out for more information on this historic event: http://wreckedmagazine.com/joeyredmond/
General Motors and Mobil 1 have a great partnership in the drag racing industry and we spent some time
outside of Miami, Florida at Moroso Motorsports Park with some of the best drivers in the drag racing scene. Don’t miss our video that highlights Mobil 1’s involvement in the sport compact drag racing scene.
SEMA 2007 seemed like yesterday although it was almost a full year ago to date that the event took place in Las Vegas. We worked with Mobil 1 to produce a SEMA booth video and produce an activation video of everything Mobil 1 had going on for the week of SEMA. Right after SEMA Mobil 1’s PR company contacted me and asked us to send the people over at WebRidesTV our SEMA booth video. Tonight we just came across this video online at Spike TV that utilizes the footage we sent them to compliment their booth story. All of the F1 Racing, Drag Racing, and Drifting footage was put together by us for the Mobil 1 SEMA booth. Make sure to stop by this year and check out our new production which we are currently working on with Theory.
