Mike Garrett featured our MSC Drift coverage from this weekend on Speedhunters! They did a nice write up with the story and showed some great pictures we have featured with our logo. They even shot a link to our homepage letting people know they could find tons of MSC photos from that weekend. Appreciate it guys!

This ad was actually shot by Gene Tjin but we were able to setup the lightning for the shot. We were on site doing a video shoot and Gene asked us to help him out to nail a perfect shot. This was the end result! The only thing that I wish we could of done differently was we tried running an ARRI constant light that was hidden inside the car to give it some back light but we could never really get it to work. I was able to do it for the video we put together at their shop so it ended up working out.

For those of you not from Atlanta or if you have never been to a Friday night game the fireworks setup is very unique. Every Friday night home game the Braves pick a theme like 80’s night or James Bond and they play music for 6-10 minutes accordingly. Then they sync the fireworks show to the music selected to meet that theme giving the fans a great production after a game.

So we picked up a new advertiser in Disc Brakes Australia for Issue 6 of Wrecked Magazine and Yoni called on me to shoot the photography for the spread featuring their sponsored driver Tony Angelo from the Drift Alliance. We actually shot the photo in the pre grid section of Evergreen Speedway right before qualifying at the Formula D Seattle event. The photo was created with my Canon 30D hand held with a Speedlite 580EX remotely fired on a stand next to me. The sky and some other elements really helped this piece come together. Yoni then took that photograph along with a shot of Tony Angelo ripping it off the bank at Seattle and put some great design behind the ad to make it flow very well! If you want to see the ad in the magazine click here.

This NOS Energy Drink ad is placed in the current Super Street and Modified Magazine. We shot the photography of Chris Forsberg and his Nissan 350z from Formula D Long Beach earlier this season. We love the layout and style of the ad and how Chris is clutching his NOS can right after taking home first place.

The guys over at Speedhunters.com were in Japan during the Formula D Seattle event so Wrecked Magazine pitched him and helped them get some coverage. I provided photos for their event recap and Mike Garrett did an awesome job at throwing some text together even though he was 10,000 miles away in Japan probably wishing he was playing Battle Gear 4 instead of working on the site.

GMTunersouce.com is a website run by General Motors that highlights it’s drag racing, drifting, and road racing programs. They hired us to shoot some photography of their Drifting drivers and race teams in Long Beach for round one of the 2008 Formula D series. They also put our images up on Flickr where GMTunerSource has an account filled with great content for you to browse.

We figured you guys hadn’t gotten enough D1 coverage from this weekend so we are dropping a second gallery on you from the weekend. We had to get this up before we headed out for the main event today. It’s 8:51am out in Japan which is earlier than we have even been awake in the USA EVER just for you guys.
